Semhof organic hay cobs consist of the best, late-mown organic meadows from species-rich plants from the 1st cut. All meadows are cut with a special, environmentally friendly double-blade mower. This process protects the forage and the environment and helps to preserve countless amphibians and insects. The hay cobs have the typical hay character due to the predominant drying and wilting in the sun. They smell wonderfully aromatic, which makes them highly acceptable as feed. You can supplement or enhance your hay ration with our hay cobs.
They are also ideal as a roughage substitute for old horses and horses with dental problems, possibly in combination with our Semhof organic alfalfa pellets - we will be happy to advise you!

You can feed Semhof organic hay cobs soaked or dry. For wet feeding, a ratio of 1:2 (1 cup of hay cobs and 2 cups of water) with a short swelling time of 10-45 minutes is ideal. Horses that eat slowly and thus salivate sufficiently can also be fed dry. For smaller doses, you can give the meadow cobs dry. Also suitable for dosing via automatic feeders.
