    Description
  • Dr. Weyrauch No.12 Otto (Human) - 60 capsules

Dr.WeyrauchNo.12 Otto (Human) is a healthy and sufficiently structured stool consistency based on the interaction of countless colonies of microorganisms living in the intestine.

The intestinal flora, i.e. the community of all microorganisms living in the intestine, is primarily dependent on the food consumed. Human stool results from the activity of these cultures and is mainly composed of water, abundant intestinal bacteria, mucosal cells and the remaining digestive secretions. In between are undigested parts (dietary fiber) and fermentation or putrefaction products (organic acids, biogenic amines, etc.). Intestinal peristalsis depends on the firmness of the stool and the amount of fiber consumed. Normally, enough water is removed from the stool in the large intestine so that the consistency is soft but formed and easy to excrete. Diarrhea and excessively soft stools are undesirable. Tannins from plants can have an influence on the firmness of the stool.

    No. 12 Otto
In the product No. 12 Otto, the trace element zinc has been incorporated into a base of tannin-containing blueberry and raspberry leaves, sage, camomile and oak bark, supplemented by artichoke and milk thistle. Zinc contributes to normal fatty acid metabolism, normal carbohydrate metabolism and normal protein synthesis. Zinc also contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system, to the protection of cell components from oxidative damage and to normal acid-base metabolism.

    Vegetable capsule shell: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose

Out of consideration for customers who are vegetarians or vegans, we have decided to use cellulose for the capsule shells. In capsules made from hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, the cellulose is processed in such a way that it softens and becomes porous in the stomach or when it comes into contact with moisture, so that the contents of the capsule can escape. The cellulose is not digested but excreted as "dietary fiber".
