Dr.Weyrauch No. 7 Fountain of Youth contains the citrate form of magnesium, which is considered to be readily available and very well tolerated. It is embedded in a specially designed herbal formulation of hawthorn, galangal, rosemary, gingko and lemon balm. Herbs provide secondary plant substances which, thanks to their antioxidant effect, provide valuable support, especially in the case of stress and age-related additional requirements, as they are able to intercept free radicals and thus serve to protect cells. Evening primrose oil provides valuable omega-3 fatty acids, which are an important building block for elastic blood vessels. As in all dr.Weyrauch products, only natural vitamin E is used in the Fountain of Youth, which works much more efficiently than synthetic vitamin E because, unlike synthetic vitamin E, it can even be detected in the periphery of the cell. insufficient intake and stress situations (high sporting demands, mental stress, ageing problems, genetic disposition) can mean that the requirement for magnesium, vitamin E, polyunsaturated fatty acids and other antioxidant nutrients is not covered. This can lead to problems with the cardiovascular system, particularly as part of natural ageing and regeneration processes. The classic deficiency symptoms of magnesium deficiency can include restlessness, but also weakness, muscle cramps, the urge to urinate at night and a lack of thirst. A lack of vitamin E can be the cause of lack of strength, nerve and muscle breakdown, heart problems and muscle and joint diseases. A dog's need for magnesium is often underestimated as it is not really "assessable" and it is important to know that a diet that meets the dog's needs keeps the heart, blood vessels and blood flow in good shape. Special key nutrients such as magnesium and vitamin E support the metabolism of the heart muscle and help to ensure blood flow to the smallest vessels, the capillaries and thus to entire tissues and organs. This is also of great importance for healthy dogs. In dogs, the onset of cardiac insufficiency usually manifests itself with a cough. It sounds as if the dog is choking. Other signs may include abdominal edema, nocturnal urination, shortness of breath and loss of condition, lethargy and reduced food intake. Heart problems can occur in youth, during growth or after infections. They are not an exclusive symptom of old age. A lack of certain nutrients is often the trigger.
