Analytical constituents and contents:

Add dry or moistened to the feed or sprinkle over the hay. Horses are given 30-50g daily (about a handful). Ponies should be given about half the amount, depending on their size.
OKAPI Bitter Herbs should never be given for longer than six to eight weeks at a time. A break of four to six weeks or a change to a different herbal mixture is then recommended.
This also accommodates the horse's natural feeding behavior. Alternating OKAPI bitter herbs, OKAPI detoxifying herbs and OKAPI herbal pasture every two weeks throughout the winter has proved successful.
