Give horses 2 scoops daily with their feed. Depending on their size, ponies should receive about half. The amount can be doubled if there is an increased requirement.
Horses often do not like the taste of OKAPI Spirulina at first, so it has proven to be a good idea to feed it with hay: Initially give half a measuring spoon over dry or moistened hay or soaked OKAPI sainfoin.
Slowly increase the dosage over 1-2 weeks until the recommended amount is reached. After about two weeks, OKAPI Spirulina is well accepted by most horses.
