Swiss sainfoin is grain-free basic feed for all horses and goats. We work together with a farmer who produces the sainfoin just for us and responds to our wishes. We have been able to gain a lot of experience in recent years and are proud to offer our sainfoin to our own animals as well as to our customers.

We wanted to make a contribution here and on the one hand relieve the whole import traffic and the environment and on the other hand give a regional farmer the chance to sell his product through us. We also wanted a high-quality sainfoin from the region to meet our high standards.
Due to its pressed structure, sainfoin should only be fed soaked. Pour at least three times the amount of water over the sainfoin and leave to swell until it has completely disintegrated. Warm water shortens the swelling time. It is pressed without the addition of adhesives.
Sainfoin is not a complete feed and should therefore always be offered together with a high-quality mineral feed in addition to a sufficient amount of roughage.

Feeding advice:
Esparsette is particularly suitable for feeding older or heavy-fed horses/goats and for horses/goats with gastrointestinal problems. The high content of essential amino acids and condensed tannins makes it a valuable grain-free "concentrated feed" for all horses/goats. The pellets are made from the whole plant. Horses are given 1 - 3 kg soaked daily. Ponies receive about half depending on their size.
